Inspired by some of Anita Mundt’s stunning creations, I spent yesterday evening trying to teach myself to crochet flowers . I discovered that I have some learning to do in this department, as in many others. I’ve crocheted a few hats before, and me and my mum have actually been seen wearing them in public (not at the same time)!
This flower is a tasteful wool-and-string creation that I now am not sure what to do with. I could decorate another hat, I suppose, or maybe use it to embellish a scrapbook page if I use heavy enough cardstock. Any other imaginative suggestions are welcome, as are instructions from more accomplished crocheters! (“Unravel it and start again” could perhaps be the first comment…)
you could hot glue a magnet to the back

What a lovely flower! And it’s seems to be a fair size, too. I would love to see this beauty with a wristband; a seamstress could use it as a pin cushion… It would also be fabulous as a cover for a jewelry box. Don’t you dare unravel it! There a probably a million things you could do with it!
